I love the simplicity of this one and in particular the white subway tiles. I would probably do something a bit more unique with concrete counter tops or a wood block, but overall I love this.

Love the dark light contrast here as well as the lighting and the soffit look that makes it feel like a closed space while being open.

Dark island cabinets with white everywhere else

We like how the cantilevered island overhang allows people to sit on all sides of the island. We love how the grey counter accents the white counters and cabinets and how it continues up the wall (potentially around to the ceiling).

This might be a little too dark in general, but I love the concrete with the white and black contrasting cabinets. Mentioned on the other photo, but I also love the stove on the island.

I like how crisp this looks without the fixtures / handles on the cabinets. Not sure if it's totally functional, but would explore the idea. I also like the dark center island cabinets.

I like the lower cabinets' faux wood look. We could do this on the island. I also like the dark contrast and love the cabinets that go up and over to bring the dark lower cabinets together with the white uppers. Also love that exposed bookshelf space.

I like the white on white here. White cabinets with white counter tops. I don't like how the backsplash doesn't extend up to the bottom of the hanging upper cabinets.

The wood on the ceiling could look good as an indent on the inner part of the soffit in the kitchen.

I like the tile on ceiling in the soffit, the pendants, the white cabinets, and the grey counter tops. BUT I think we are leaning towards white cabinets against the wall, white counter tops, and dark cabinets only on the island.

We like this pull out. we don't need knife storage, but shelves for bottles would be good. We have space like this in our current place next to the oven.
