We have a birdbath too that we can use.

Q

Photo

This is very nice. Maybe we can do something like this on both sides of the picket fence/gate at the entrance to the vegetable garden?

Q

Photo

Too much concrete. Looks very harsh and cold.

Q

Photo

This looks neat too.

Q

Photo

This looks very neat. But no more water fountain for us.

Q

Photo

I do NOT like these bender boards. They never stay in place.

Q

Is this Jasmine in the foreground? The kind that's really fragrant? We can add some of that (hopefully they don't need too much maintenance).

Q

Photo

I'm saving this picture NOT because I like the look of it (it's too messy), but the leafy ground cover in the foreground looks like sage, which reminds me that we can use rosemary bushes instead of boxwood to separate the dining area in the corner from the vegetable garden. Just a thought.

Q

Photo

Is this the fruitless olive you suggested?

Q

Photo

This does NOT look good because it looks too random and chaotic.

Q

Photo

This looks good. Very orderly.

I think this is what I had before - woolly thyme between the flagstones. It was SO MUCH WORK to maintain so no thanks.

Q

Photo

I do NOT like this glossy/wet look on the tiles.

Q

Photo

Should we do something like this to the arbor (the cloth thingy)?

Q

Photo

We should have succulents like these.

Q

Photo

I do NOT like this look. I like rocks and pebbles but somehow this looks like a dump site outside the windows.

Q

Photo

The wood in this picture looks too rustic, almost like it's falling apart. I do NOT like this look.

Q

Photo

Can we use flat-top boulders like these for the steps outside the doggy door?

Q

Photo

If this is a cheaper way to use the flagstones, I'll take it.

Q

Photo

Again, I LOVE flagstones, and we have some left over. I hope we can incorporate some flagstone as stepping stones in the design without breaking my bank. I especially LOVE the flagstones laid this way among some green ground covers but ONLY if it doesn't need constant maintenance (like it did with the woolly thyme).

Q

Photo

I can't tell if that's a square piece of rock in the middle, but I'm thinking maybe we can use something like this outside the doggy door and then kind of hide it/them with some plants?

Q

Photo

I am sick and tired of mulch so maybe if there are new areas we need to cover, we can cover them with these pebbles/rocks. They are clean and won't disappear over time and won't getting all yucky and moldy.
