Hello, thank you for your great question. Using wood on the exterior of a project requires careful preparation and the use of very high performing stains and sealers. Here we used Sikkens "Log and Siding" following the manufacturer's recommendations. The color is 085 Teak. When properly applied we get great durability and longevity out of this product on cedar.
