Kitchen
**Would rather splurge on kitchen appliances and counter -- and cut costs on cabinetry.
BUDGET: $30-50K
MUSTS: Appliances; Waterfall island counter; Deep, double-wide single sink with a faucet that allows water to fall in the center of sink vs. closer to wall; Efficient draws / cabinets that maximize storage; Hood Vent that is in scale / proportion to kitchen.
Would LIKE:
Double oven; Vertical roller cabinetry -- appliance garage; Wine fridge or Beverage drawers.
Like the counter flow -- with waterfall on one side and corder seating.
Love this hood vent.
Love the clean, flush, integrated profile.
Like the placement of area rug.
Kind of like the blue cabinetry.
Love the Fridge.
Like the mix of materials. Could we use composite for the waterfall island.
Can we section off a portion of the kitchen island for a wine fridge?
Layout similar.
Like the island mix of materials and colors.
Maybe using the counter material as the pop of color?
Like the hidden outlet drawer.
Perhaps for the negative space on counter corner, adding a vase with large branches?
Love the island material and the lights.
Maybe, to modernize, we white the walls, and then add in elements of dark.
Like the contrast between counter and support
Waterfall counter island.
Waterfall counter island with composite material.
That grey/blue cabinetry in back.
Flank sink with wine fridge and washer?
Appliance garage. Would like to incorporate a roller-opening cabinet for coffee / espresso maker in pantry.
Fridge on the end of the kitchen.
Potential countertop / island material alternative. Also, like how they combined the light floors with the white cabinetry and then added an accent of dark wood.
Also a potential option for the empty vertical space between kitchen and dining room? Also, perhaps incorporating a back splash is not counter to ceiling.
If waterfall island counter is too costly, perhaps as an alternative we do a wine set-up.
Perhaps in that empty vertical space a wine fridge?
Would LOVE a tiered system for food storage containers.
This is an Ikea kitchen space saver. . . maybe an option if we have a deeper corner cupboard.
Yes, please! A slim towel drying drawer.
Would LOVE to have this system for trash and recycling.
Maybe we panel the dividing wall.
