Are these similar cabinets? This looks okay -- a little cold. Wondering how to "warm" it up.

Using the white cabinets? Will the gray be too cold?

maybe at the end of the island by the exterior door? So its not visible from foyer but if absolutely necessary you can get extra counter space?

similar thing with this island -- walnut top

Not so much the color, but the island style will bring the current kitchen cabinets a more traditional feel -- the turned legs make it feel like furniture -- can really throw some money into the island to make that the focal point so everything else is just the backdrop

grayish white cabinets and painted island, interesting very modern light fixture, but I kind of like it.

I like this cabinet color maybe to reuse the cabinets. example of dark brown island...and water pot filler!

cream shaker with a hood and matching subway tile...example of butcher block island.

I think these are the shape of the current cabinets? an idea of what maybe reusing them and repainting would look like.

greenish gray walls and gray island?
don't like black pulls or distressing, but like the marble-ish countertop.
Q

maybe these dressier handles might help the cabinets?
don't like the open/glass ones, but like the others. Soft aqua walls are nice too, but the stools are too much aqua, I think.

love this.

pretty much love this. not sure how to do it on a small scale.
Q

I like the knobs and cabinet color -- not yellowy cream, but a soft off-white.

I like these light fixtures as well...cabinets are a bit too fancy, but I like the color. I don't like the Italianate backsplash.

- I like the light fixtures and the cream on cream, not sure about door handles (prefer knobs probably). actually kind of like the backsplash too.
