L shape island with raised center

Q

Photo

something like this

Another view

Make our raised area only from cookbook end to the sink - or stop before sink so we can have a different type of faucet (or room for easier install) and create more work space at that end of island

Q

Is this weird?

upper level of island only goes partway - maybe ours could stop before sink? More room for faucet so install isn't so crazy and could add cabinets that open towards great room but attach behind cabinets that face ovens?

Q

Photo

another view of raising cookbook end of island - stop before the sink so we have more workspace on end by double oven

Q

Photo

raise cookbook end of island and stop it before the sink so we have more workspace by oven end?

This is interesting - end of island is wrapped - could we do this with shelving end and make that more of a storage that faces towards great room? Would there be enough space for stools?

Q

Photo
Photo
Photo

large island with cabinet at end by fridge (like our oven end) - shows how stools could be configured - would need to remove cookbook shelving?

Q

Photo

island move to one level - remove cookbook shelving and make a corner post so stools can sit on that end and around the back side

Q

Photo

we could flatten island make room for 1 stool on end by cookbook shelves and then add 2 more stools - would this be lopsided or even practical....stools would be on far end of island

Q

Photo

wine fridge end of island is similar to how our island has a cabinet - if we flatten island, we could probably fit 3 stools - what would happen to cookbook shelving on end?

Q

Photo

this is 12ft island

Q

Photo

the fork and spoon in dark finish - or is it wood?

Q

Photo

fork and spoon mounted on tapestry - looks more art-like

Q

Photo

fork and spoon art - lays flat to wall
