I really like the layout of this kitchen, with the wall shelves and open counter space. Also love the stainless countertops. Not big on the waterfall feature of the island.
Open shelving, but a bit more "pinned up". I like how it feeds into the drawers.

Lovely storage for camping gear
Box in the fridge (especially a counter-depth one) with cabinets on all sides. Looks more built-in and integrated.
The higher bar hides clutter and dirty dishes.

Flat "crown molding" on the top of the cabinets. Simple, inexpensive, and chic.
The tall area is actually just wall! Add a high piece of trim and paint it all one color.
Flat baseboards add dimension. Should be at least 6 inches tall. (Note narrow window trim, which looks okay.)
