No soffit! The cabinets at right with glass and blue interior paint are pretty

The wood in the curve doorway. Doesn’t have to be wood but adds interest somehow

How to Design a Kitchen That’s Easy to Clean

Q

Adding a corned walk between kitchen and family room

Q

Cabinets and island and appliances flush with cabinets. Seems easy to clean. Drop sink and I like faucet clearance for stock pots

9 Ways to Get Low-Maintenance Kitchen Cabinets

U shape with cabinets on left wall

Don’t like the colors of Backsplash but I like that it’s a slab and matches island and then just white countertops. I love the flat front cabinets that go to the ceiling but want lower drawers. Want microwave hidden

Kitchen of the Week: Storage Galore With a Light and Bright Style

Q

Peninsula or island?

Q

Photo

little coffee or rice cooker or crockpot area with shelving could be next to fridge

Q

Photo

oven same fridge side by side

Q

Photo

drink fridge, coffee and baking storage, counter and storage. Don’t like how cabinets open. I can see that breaking easily

Q

Photo

maybe an island isn't the way to go. maybe a layout like this

Q

Photo

again if an island doesn't make sense, maybe this layout

Q

Photo

For the walk of cabinets with a station for coffee. Nice to have outlets for kettle and stuff. Under cabinet lighting too

Q

I need a place to store the mixer

No glass. Cabinets to ceiling. A little prep area, place for rice cooker, set hot dishes or cookies to cook

Q

I really like this too the ceiling and appliances flush with cabinets. Don’t care for waterfall counter. I like the sink style and cabinet hardware. Prefer slab over tile or larger tile I guess. I like the hood but not the divet bc you could get yucky stuff in there hard to clean

Renovation Spending Is Up, New Houzz Study Shows

Q

The cabinets go up to the ceiling. The cabinet on the right has closed and open glass (for display) together and the inside has blue paint. Pretty.

Q

Photo

I like the two-toned look (different tops and bottoms). I like cabinets on top and drawers underneath. I like the countertops (white with grey veining) but do not care for the waterfall style on the counter. Looks like a Bosch 300 dishwasher--nice! I like the color and style of the handles. I like how the tile is similar to the counter but NOT the exact same.

Know the 3 Zones of Kitchen Storage

Q

I like the storage for sheet pans and grills. Not sure if I'd put on top, but I do need a space for those. I don't like anything else in this picture.

Q

Photo

I like a separate space for coffee and tea. I would also like outlets there if possible. And perhaps space for a toaster, other types of appliances like mixer and food processor?

Q

Photo

coffee center with tile backsplash and doors to hide. I also like the cabinetry for storage around it.

Q

Photo

coffee center with doors to shut/hide and surrounded by storage.

Q

Photo

coffee center with toaster oven. maybe with storage around can have cereal and other breakfasty items with the storage. like the doors to hide/shut and surrounding storage.

Q

Photo

Charging drawers! Definitely need place on peninsula or island for charging devices

Q

Photo

I don’t know if I prefer stored upright vs laid flat

Q

Photo

I need sheet pan storage but I don’t like ovens and microwave built into wall. Feel like there’s a way to make a space to place a microwave in although I’m not opposed to a warming drawer

Q

Photo

Non negotiable are drawers for pots and pans

Q

Photo

It’s not pretty but man does it seem useful not to have to dig deep for pantry items

Q

Photo

Drawers for plates. I’m so short! I only want cabinets for glasses and stuff I don’t need often

Q

Photo

Like that these aren’t deep

Q

Photo

I like how mugs, coffee travelers and microwave are in the coffee station area. I like having this zone

Q

Photo

I don’t know if I need two pantries or even have the space. Feels important to have coffee station but also toaster and rice cooker and crock pot space

Q

Photo

I’m Filipino. Ima need that large oversized hood. Something easy to clean

Q

Photo

It would be cool to have a bar area. Could it be on the same wall with the coffee? Maybe. Could it go in the family room? Also possible

Q

Photo

If we kept a pass through? I don’t know

Q

Photo

This but with drawer bottoms could be the answer to hidden coffee and toaster and rice cooker. Maybe. I’m torn bc I do like counters

Q

Photo

I like the microwave in the coffee area but prefer a shelf to put microwave on or have it below

Q

Photo

Another pass through idea

Q

two toned wood and blue and white countertops
