these are different in that they've been beveled on the vertical edges and the capitals are simple in comparison to the bases. i like the bases.
this one just looks weird. the top or "capital" is much larger than the base.
a little large but elegant nevertheless
the soffits are as wide as the tops of these round columns
round ones are few and far between unless they're very ornate
shaker style. but the top of the column is bigger and more ornate than the base.
these must be 8" in diameter. liking the square columns...
i think i prefer the clean lines of the square columns. this room is beautifule. check out the stain color too.
love this house... but i think the columns could be bigger
these are nice too tho not as ornate as the ones i preferred
