Covered Deck

Lots of pix of this one, which I really like, but do not think is truly practical for me. Would result in feeling "too closed in," I think. Plus does nothing to keep the rain out/off, which is a primary goal.

Used hip roof framing and left it exposed for the deck roof.

This one is cool! I like the slats, but again the issue is rain control. Plus, it may be that what makes this work are the slats both on the roof and the one wall.

Wow! Probably too dramatic, but the angle need not be this steep. Would need a gutter between the house and deck roof.

Here's another view of the same patio & cover. Looks like a rain chain in the back on the left. But we could site it to drain into the back gutter for my house.

Trimdeck profile polycarb roof sheeting with colorbond capping. Not so much "top" structure which might be nice?

So much to like! Including the backlit panels!! But not sure this keeps out the rain + not slanted up. Still, could just add lights to whatever gets done.
