Primary Bath - Curated Ideabook for Local Lakes Construction
Lovely elegant bathroom with wallpaper accent wall. I like the idea of the furniture added to room .. we would likely have space for something like that by tub and would help ease the "open" dance floor feel. Overhead lighting and sconce lighting - makeup mirror built in... simple tile with "texture"
Thoughtful cabinetry design under sink making space more usable - with electrical outlet too.
I'm in love with the shower accent wall. That tile comes in a blue ombre as well that is STUNNING. Really dramatic and elegant. Note - free floating bench does not need "wall" to adhere to... is up against glass shower door.
Like the idea of "furniture" style cabinetry but probably don't want it to be truly open at bottom - just appearance of furniture in design.
Pretty use of tile
Closest I've seen to the stained and "marble" like look
Similar positioning as our bathroom. Could "build" a wall like you see here under window to create a ledge but still have free standing tub. This shows "1/2 wall of shower with glass walls and door...Depending on where controls and shower head go - the door can open in which means you don't have to save space for the door to open out into bathroom.
Another in drawer option for appliances
Small teak bench that can fold flat is a great option as we consider making the shower smaller
Just a reminder to really think about how to make storage work extra hard. Good cabinet design can make less cabinetry work better. (If we redo closet - or even the linen closet - we could do a much better job with hampers that keep our closet looking cleaner)
If we put countertop cabinets - I'd want a toothbrush station like this.
Cabinet detail - allows for placement of "hot" appliances that can be plugged in and left in "drawer"
Like the floor design - looks like luxury vinyl tile in a chevron pattern? Bright and cheery bathroom (I like the "coastal" look that is bright
Don't like this shower per se - but the teak bench INSTEAD of the built in bench is my preference. Probably cheaper - but the built in bench will be too cold for sitting on and will just be used to set stuff and have a cluttered shower.
I like the stained color of wood with the reeded detail. Mirrors with sconces on side concept is desirable. Pretty countertops although I don't know if waterfall is necessary. Also want tile "backsplash" to protect painted or wallpapered wall. Jeff - if we reconfigured closet entirely we could blow into that space and do something oriented around the window in bathroom. But that is major.
European towel warmer installed (LOVE)
Possible configuration ... tub on a separate tile outline, "short wall" between shower and tub (allows for towel storage, etc.. - yet shower still bright and open. Different orientation of shower (where plumbing is) but not sure that matters. Smaller looking shower but still appears sizable.
Some look/feel options - clear countertop - no upper cabinetry. Separate mirrors with sconces for best lighting. Colored cabinetry. Tile work creating "rug"effect. But not so interested in this color tile, etc... more a cabinetry "save"
Electrical outlets within drawers allows for hair dryer and other to be stored easily and ready to go from drawer - removes clutter from countertop
Another view of separation of open toilet area from bathroom entrance
Separation of "open" toilet area with furniture style storage and display.
