this is a good one, I like the wall color showing through, especially since I just painted a great color this week!

the compass on the floor inspires a world map 'wallpapering' behind the shelving area instead of wainscoting, since I'm thrifty. This might be a sneaky way i can simplify my storage area in the hall entry.

this would be expensive, but it's the idea I want to capture for the look and function of our blank slate entryway, which I've just finished spackling, priming and painting, (a pale blue faded denim grey.)
