this would be similar island to yours re position of sink, left side is dishwasher. Just know that you cannot put a dish strainer there as it will be very unsightly since that will become your eating area. you would have to rinse your glasses and put in the dishwasher waiting for a wash cycle. thoughts/

Martha Vega at Danmar Cabs in SM said that you could incorporate wood on island to soften the look although i think this combination of stark white and wood countertop on island does not work

There are lots of cabinets. Like the corner organizers. Not sure about the dark grey glass backsplash and the brown trim on the island. Quartz not my favorite. Would prefer something that is not as in your face busy look

Anne, would you consider the timeless beauty of wood such as these cherry cabinets. They are not painted grey or white which are cool colors and could make your kitchen cold. Warm colors will make your kitchen sweet, cozy and inviting. just think about it
