will I like it if I have closed cabinets on one side and open shelves/bins on the other side maybe mix closed cabinets and open shelves on the laundry side so it isn't such a sharp contrast to the mud room side

could do these recessed hooks and cubbies if we put them where the washer /dryer are now put washer /dryer opposite wall with vertical broom closet would lose any "shelves" but maybe don't need them with these huge cubbies
