I used to fabricate and install Corian for $22.00 psf two score ago and made a nice living. No way would I fab and install unrepairable porcelain for $30.00 these days. These guys are going broke; they just don't know it yet.

yeh_yeh: Only some of the solid color Corian is available in 1/4" thickness. DuPont only allows 1/4" for vertical applications. All other is 1/2" thick. A fabricator ought to be able to get you into a warehouse to view a whole sheet which is probably a good idea if the selection has lots of movement.
