It dawns on me that I tend to like the range and oven against the wall and not in the island. This island does not allow for comfortable seating but does having a second sink in the island allow for an expanded work station for food prep. Also, the colors in this kitchen are very appealing.

The view is the design rich detail of the room. My house is going to lots of windows with a rich design/view. I may not want my walls to complete with the view. While I have attracted to bold accent walls and backsplash design, I do not want it to compete with the views

The color scheme is very sophisticated: black, dark gray, white marble with copper and gold highlights. With enough windows and light, such a dark color may not be so dark.

I DO NOT LIKE this kitchen. I saved it b/c if the kitchen is so sleek and modern and sterile, it does not give the vibe of a kitchen that I would want. I would like clean lines but the warmth of wood, functionality of good products that are used to make good food. and have a lived-in and inviting feel to it. People always gather in my kitchen.
