stone range wall ?
looking back from the great room ... this is the "feel" simple, set back, lights under hood ... nook with side "walls" flanking the range top... like the grand but simple.
Cole would like this countertop for his bathroom
minus the interior "hood" depth... nook
like the "nook" feel of the range... depth and grotto like (hope I am using the right word... )
the hood needs to look "built in" like a piece of the cabinetry... and not a "hood" even if it is another material... still "build in" or "a part of the cabinetry"

I know we like the cabinetry look above... but I do like this too. not so thick with the brackets... maybe without them and just cabinetry butting up against ... like the simplicity of this hood m - maybe built into the cabinetry ... so I can have the best of both ?? this is copper? like the zinc too ... simple -- I know I don't want the rounded hood hoods...
that hood is stunning (minus the brackets) I see that hood with a grotto look ... meaning range sunk back in... with a stone ledge/shelf...
