Dense planting upto the focal point.
Pale tourquoise and white. Oh, and that window seat!
Drawn to sit or nap here.
LUSHLY planted

Kitchen picture window seat brings the feel of the garden inside. Bright white cabinets with simple dark hardware matches the black base of the island, and reflects light back at the island surface. Bold green tile pops behind work area.
Climbing roses

Bold and lush.
I like the seating area for 4 in the island.
I like the separate drawer and shelf unit along the island.
Build a note of quiet calm in the pergola area by placing a water fountain-birdbath a few feet west of the pergola. DIY, a small pump on the second level circulates clean water and lures birds and butterflies to enjoy a bath and relax over a drink.
A bench for storage and sitting.
A mirror and a choice of light levels plus a shelf like the one on the left.
The comfort beckons me. I will raise one side of the top stringers and cover with corrogated clear plastic to keep the most of the rain out. Chandelier looks right. Put it on a dimmer. Use string lights and candles for softening the atmosphere at night. Use a fan to keep mosquitos ay bay.
Back to back pergolas work well for large parties, plant around the bases of posts, notice all the curves.
