I have a huge Bassett sectional that is 10 years old and looks like new and a Thomasville couch and chair-and-a-half with ottoman that is also 10 years old and looks like new. The Bassett sectional is in the TV room and used by the entire family of five and friends, and the Thomasville is in the seldom used living room. I have some Ethan Allen chairs that are scattered here and there and they have also held up well. None of these pieces are leather. They are all upholstered in fabric. I also have a Henredon sofa that is 35 years old and looks great. I wish it was worn!! I want to recover it, but the upholstery still looks great! I don't think you can go wrong with any of them.
