Pretty :) We would want to make sure that seating / eating area has heaters we could turn on so that we can use the space when a little chillier.

Adirondack chairs w/ fire pit are pretty. Pergola is okay in this photo, but we can't imagine it working on our house / space.
Like fire pit & chairs, DG is okay.
We like the cloth-on-cables look, but dislike posts. Still better than a huge pergola.
More cloth-on-cables; this one mounted against house on both sides.
sails look a bit better with lighting
Seems like you need two sails to get reasonable coverage. But rather ugly. Better with posts hidden in planters / trees?
Cantilevered umbrellas look nice.
Combining fire pit & serving surface seems good; don't feel like we need to have a huge fire. This is too modern an aesthetic, though.
1. Built-in benches are okay so long as there are planters integrated. 2. Planting boxes in the wall are cool.
Again, benches need planters.
Lauren likes the stone. Patrick prefers the wood-ish looking deck we have now. Regardless, lights under steps are a nice touch.
We like the separation of space via planters. Otherwise, too much desert & rocks aesthetic.
could just pop the sides off our current grill and put next to a counter / storage item.
Could just put in a climbing surface and slide; ari seems less into swings these days, although he's fickle.
Like the bumper to separate wood chips and grass. Also, even though this is rather large, it seems pretty flat (not deep) against the back wall.
way to use a tree that's at the back of a yard.
