Do not like the hood built-in that takes away counter space next to the range.
Like the wood floors and wood base on the island.
Not a big fan of the cabinet pantry. In particular, we do not like the shelves on the doors. We have them in our current home, and they cause more trouble than they're worth.
This is interesting. Never thought about windows behind the range and hood.
Love the big windows and the natural light they bring in. Big fan of this hood.

Love the dark floors with white cabinets and the natural light. Not a fan of the glass in the cabinets. Becoming less of a fan of the hanging pots and pans.
A different layout perspective
This is what I had in mind when I was talking about french doors.

Like the idea of hiding certain appliances if we don’t have a pantry.
