Ok so I read and researched all the comments on this thread.... here is the list of alternatives to RH Cloud for a buyer from SoCal. Joybird - Holt Joybird - Bryant Living Spaces - Haven Article - Gaba Article - Quadra ( is this the new name of Article Cube?) Monarch - Custom Jerome's - Reserve Using the following criteria for rankings how would the folks in this thread rank this list. Criteria below: Appearance Color/Fabric Choice Comfort Service Price Value Construction Overall satisfaction with product

I've been reading this thread for over a year before I finally made the plunge with the Joybird Bryant. I was tired of "pretty couches" that were uncomfortable and realized that if I was going to spend a considerable amount of time binge-watching Netflix, it should be in comfort. Bought 3 corner pieces + 2 armless, and with the 30% sale they were having, and the upgrade to a Tier 2 Fabric (+$300, kid and pet friendly), the total came out to $3980 for 5 pieces. I've had this couch for a month so think I can give an accurate review now that it's had some time to settle in. Pros - Joybird allows you to track the progress of the build/delivery on their website. It was great since I was kept in the loop and it helped ease my anxiety of waiting for the new couch - Super comfortable- usually I would bring a pillow to the couch but since it's already "built in" there's no need to anymore! - Free swatch kit has a wide variety of available fabrics along with different tiers - Cushions are attached with a little tethered cord that's clipped into the couch so the cushions don't move around or fall off - 365-day return policy (Joybird will pay for shipping if it's within the first 14 days) Cons (depending on how you look at it) - Couch has a very low back, so not ideal if you want to sit upright or place in a very formal setting, but if you are looking for comfort and want to use it for lounging, it's perfect. Also, if you're looking at this as a Restoration Hardware Cloud dupe, keep in mind the RH version also has a very low back too - Filling is NOT down, it's 100% polyester fiber....so it's not as fluffy but I'm okay with it since it's easier to replace if I ever felt the need to "plump" it up - Covers are not machine washable. I asked Customer Support about this and they recommend spot cleaning. Since I picked out a sturdier fabric, not sure how some of the thinner fabrics may fare out if they get really dirty I was initially nervous about buying directly from a website that has no available showrooms but I'm happy that I waited for more reviews to pop up on this thread. No need to buy it at full price since it seems like they have sales over holidays and I was able to get it for 30% off. Overall, extremely happy with the price, service, delivery and of course, the comfort of the couch.
