This is VERY close to what we're thinking! Covered but less impeded view from living room with covered/shaded deck for the rest. Again, our biggest concern with this kind of roof line is how it affects the rooms inside vs. a flatter design. Esp. on the second floor where we hope to have 2-3 bedrooms.
