We have a japanese maple tree in the backyard that we might be able to use in the front.
Also a huge fan of dinner plate dahlias. Not necessarily for the front yard, but just to give you an idea of what I like

I don't like how "typical" this pergola is, however this photo shows the concept of privacy from the neighbor
We're looking to add some sort of screen between our house and the neighbor to the right. Possibly grow Sally Holmes rose on the pergola/screen.
I like privacy screens that have cool designs on them.
Hi have two of the large variegated plants (green with yellow trim). I've cultivated quite a few of it's "babies" in hopes of finding a use for them in the front or back yard
I love the orange flowers of this aloe (?). I have a few aloe plants that I've been nursing in hopes of using in the front yard.

I love santa barbara daisies like these, but they seem to all fry in the sun.
I have had this draping green plant before and love it. the right side of our house has too much sun for this, but the left side might tolerate it.

I like how the plants at sidewalk-level have a contrasting backdrop and the fact that they're all the same gives a great wow factor. I like the draping plants too.
I'd like to learn more about this type of tree to see if it would be a good fit for us.
Perhaps incorporate house trim colors like this in the solid part of the structure
