If we were ignoring comfort...
Possible idea of something like this if we have to keep columns in certain places because of load bearing walls. Could make a great way to have additional seating at big dinners but have a second island type concept that creates a barrier between people hanging out in the kitchen and people actually working in the kitchen.
Definitely want a square or round table to accommodate 12-14. We will routinely have the 6 original, immediate family members, plus up to 4 significant others, plus our parents. If it’s a dinner that involves more than that, it’s going to be multiple tables and seating areas, including outside. But pretty much, it’s either: 2 of us, 12-14 or us, or 20 or more.
If the new kitchen could have enough drawer storage that I don’t need a Tupperware of extra silverware in the pantry, that would be great. ?
This has merit as well.
Really love this one.
I'm not sure if I am bold enough to take it this far, but I like the clean lines, flat cabinetry, etc.
Also like this mid-century modern look.
Love this one for outside shower/bath.
Love the feel of this tub.
Really like the use of drawers in the island. We both like this as is.
Functional, boring.
This pantry looks to "farmhouse-y" but I like the ventilated vegetable drawers and way everything. has a place.
Like this shower.
Would want a full or queen, not a twin, but like the aesthetic.
Prefer horizontal but this is attractive
Something like this, but with a wine wall? Maybe? Definitely want any use of a Murphy bed to be horizontal.
I don't LOVE this but it's a start of an idea.
Queen size beds on bottom with twin on top, in two rooms divided by a sliding door (room could be one giant room if needed or two separate small rooms if needed) would be ideal. Like the storage this offers too.
Love the clean and open look. Love the floor to ceiling pane glass. Love the wine bottles on the wall. Love the table and chair look.
Assuming with four children, three current significant others, 1 grandson, 3 grand-dogs and the likelihood of future grandchildren, anywhere we can throw a built in bed that would work for a kid or a dog crate is a good idea.
This is not a WOW but it's ok.
I love these chairs. Also cool wine wall.
Love.
Like the waterfall countertop.
I guess it might be a pain in the butt to clean but this window pane style glass on the shower is cool, especially with the tile pattern. I do not like the farmhouse cabinets though.
Seems like an efficient way to get a lot of seats at the island. Also like some of the cabinetry door widths/sizes.
Attic - love. Just makes me wish we could make use of the attic space.
I do NOT like the farmhouse vibe of this, but there are other things to like about it.
Love the clean lines, uncluttered look, etc.
Another good look
Cool bar
The next five or so pics are just showing the level of cooking and such that goes on even at the college apartment.
We both love these doors.
Good vibe. Warm without darkness. Special lighting.
There is something good about this--can't put my finger on it. Don't like the trim though.
