Now I can see what I had envisioned (in 2017) come to life (some -what so to speak)...It's a similar color scheme idea I had to match up with the remodel appliances installed in black. Now to refurbish the bottom cabinets in black, currently with bge./ buff tan (pickled / antiqued) on the bottom and top cabinets. Then replace the counter top with tan / black merled granite (maybe the white / black merled) as shown...
( I love the blk & buff / tan though, can't decide).
The two story Kitchen {ceiling} I want to paint with buff tan to give the illusion of a stone arch (as in the hanging tapestry on the main wall). Paint the main wall, opposing walls and open loft balcony stairway walls, in a medium french blue to highlight and bring out the deep tones in the large tapestries that hang on three of the kitchen walls. Paint the open loft staircase balcony {railing} to the kitchen in black with tan spindles, columns and arches, with white trim accents.
Accent rugs are already in the tapestry and house scheme tones, with the island bar seats and table seats in solids, (need to update fabrics and drapery with new wall color) and highlight w/ MacKenzie-Childs checked blk / wht and patterne...
