Avoid the angled sink & dishwasher combo. It's more difficult to load dishes in an angle.
Square off the island. Have dishwasher & sink next to each other.Switch out pantry closet for pantry cabinets. I was in a wheelchair with a broken leg years ago & getting things out of closets was difficult.
Drawers are nice to access.
If you get base cabinets, pullouts are very helpful to get to.
