Fresh White Palette Brings Joy to Designer’s Kitchen and Bedroom
In this episode of Houzz TV Live, designer Krista Watterworth Alterman of Krista + Home gives a tour of the kitchen and master bedroom inside her home in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. In the kitchen, which was a major focus of a recent renovation, the high-gloss white cabinets and shiplap ceiling join with the Calacatta Gold marble countertops and slab backsplash to create a breezy, inviting coastal style. The large-format travertine tile floors and brass cabinet hardware and island pendants add warmth to the space.
In the master bedroom, Alterman continued the fresh style with a white bedspread, walls, nightstands and lampshades. Large photographs of beaches and a custom wallpaper featuring lyrics from the couple’s wedding song infuse the space with personality and charm.
Please tell Krista that I, too, have marble in two of my kitchens, and you do have to be bold to take care of it.

I have the same stools from a shop in NYC. They look amazing but not handmade by a guy in Brooklyn. They are made in Asia.
