Appreciate that the bar and kitchen are not marred with wacky backsplashes .... this desire to make them "Pop" destroys most kitchens. Nice, clean design that lets the kitchen shine. If you want a a bold design element do the whole wall like they did in the shower. Subway is used a lot -- but, it works.
