Comments (7)The simplest thing to do would be to get rid of the small stuff you have on your wall and replace it with something big. You might try a big mirror with a black frame. You need more stuff up high, so consider putting something on top of the high shelves. I really like your muted colour scheme and the pop provided to the muted scheme by the comode with the green and red. The green picks a little out of the couches. The problem, from a colour point of view, is the yellow-tan cabinet and coffee table. Having three cabinets on one wall is brobs too cluttered. You MIGHT remove the center cabinet, replace it with the comode to cover the switches, then put something big to balance the cabinet on the left, or, better yet, get rid of it too. You could put down a rug with matching colours....See Moreneed help with adding curb appeal to our new home
Comments (10)A good beginning would be to replace the walkway up to the house. A new brick walkway or stamped concrete in the same color as the brick on the house will pull all of the elements of the exterior of your home together. I made my walkway 3 feet wide with 2 feet beds on each side of the walkway in stamped concrete. Create the walkway at a distance from the house in an organic natural flowing pattern up to the house with planting beds flowing beside the walkway. Take the brick right up to the from door. Soften the entrance to your home by opening the planting beds up by the house into large organic shapes. That's what I did with my home and it changed it dramatically! It's a lot of work but what a difference!...See MoreNeed help in interior
Comments (6)Hi Magesh. It depends what kind of impression you want to convey, and the kind of customer you wish to attract. Some showrooms place the furniture in groupings to show a collection and suggest combinations, complete with lamps and a painting or clock on the wall. The customer would then pass through several of these on their way though the store. This might appeal to a high-end customer. Another approach might be to break up the sets and group everything by type. Rows of sofas, rows of tables, rows of bookcases. This would appeal to the bargain hunters and give the impression of abundance....See Moreneed help for home living room wall whitewash
Comments (1)White wash in its true form is not a full cover technique...therefore the material being covered defines the finished look... This being said ...trial and error is usually the only option...however if a specific look is what you desire and you can find good pictures ...a painter who is an artist can usually duplicate it...at a premium price I would suggest you dissect what it is that u like...duller finish?...varied coloration?aged look?...with a detailed description of the factors that draw you a good paint store may be able to recommend a paint that is designed to do this......See MoreCelery.
