kitchen cabinet brands

Hi, I am renovating my kitchen and I am aiming for a look that’s a little bit country but not rustic. I would like taupe/mushroom inset shaker cabinets that don’t have a shiny finish. What brands might offer this at a decent price point? Thx!

What do you consider “a decent price point“? What’s “decent” to me, might not be “decent” to you. Give us a budget, for an accurate answer.

Hi Darbuka. I think even with a budget ($20-30k) you wouldn’t know how much cabinetry I need so... not IKEA and then not Plain and Fancy. Something in between. My dream cabinets would be hand painted and matte. I am finding a lot of the finishes feel slick. I was wondering what brands I should take a look at. Thanks!

Blum and Hettich are the best I have used. They can cost more but I believe it is worth i9t. Bending a cheap hinge the wrong way may see it break almost instantly.

If you will like to go little different than Indian / traditional one, mint green colour is in trend and goes well with brick colour walls. Looks good if you have white appliances, crockery and some other elements that are visible with it. (Sourced from google images) https://goo.gl/images/Wyu1kR

this is looking good. finally someone on houzz has listened! Thank you. I would leave it as it is since any items you place up there needs to be maintained and that is one more task we would be adding to the lady of the houzz. but if you are still wanting to add something for that first client impression may be few large glass pickle jars or just two of three colourful glass sculptures. as would perhaps know - less is more in modern design.

For 20-30K of inset cabinets, the kitchen is going to need to be small. Check out Omega, DuraSupreme, Shiloh, and Medallion. The matte finish is going to be the fly in the ointment. Lots of makers offer satin. Not so matte.
