Love the armless sofa-bench! Try using it in the center as a "cross-linking" piece between the sofa and chairs. That way people can sit on both sides of it, conversing with the sofa people and the chair people. Put the chairs where it is and use the side table from the left of the pic, or the one with flowers, between them. You'll need one huge rug to anchor the space or two smaller, and very similar ones, to put on either side of the blue sofa-bench. The other two side tables are too tall and too short for your seating pieces, so ditch them. Use your coffee table between the sofa and armless sofa (18" away from each of them.) Here's a chart for judging table and lamp heights as you'll need to work on that for balance. First, I would ask the builder to give you the dimensions of the furniture used in the plan. Since they've already done the legwork-you will know which pieces will fit. Many times folks go the the furniture store and end up with a huge sectional and it over powers the room. Second, just get what you love! You have to live there. Start to create an idea book in Houzz. You'll start to see a pattern. Then just find a sofa like the one in your pic that is in your price range. Just keep repeating until you have all your pieces. Same thing with wall decor (which I would do last). Have fun!

Hi you have a beautiful living room with lot of space but not utilised properly. My suggestions would be 1. Change the curtains to a lighter color fabric - cream/ beige / sandal (something with light shades that will allow the sunlight to pass through ) 2. When you enter the room you see the TV wall space. That TV setup needs totally new artistic frames to decorate. Get some colorful decor photo frames or quotes that will relate to your personality or your family. 3. There is a small cupboard attached to the TV set. Cover the top with a fabric that will match your window curtain. You can have any indoor plant on it which will add life to the room. 4. You need a round centre table 5. Get new cushion covers that will match with the window curtains. Hope you like my suggestions :)
