The cabinets below and above the counter can be finished with a light toned wood grained laminate. if you feel that is too plain, another option would be to go with light wood grain below and plain off white above. 4 years agoWhite Oak in a Character Grade is always a good choice. The floor in the photo could be solid or engineered it wont look any different. The finish you choose makes all the difference.
