I am considering re-doing my masonry fireplace. I like the modern stone clad look. The island stone rustic cladding will probably cost 3-4 times(perhaps more) than the ledgestone veneers. Is it worth spending that much on the island stone or will the look pretty much be similar with ledgestone? The house itself is a 25yr old home and not that modern. So I dont want to overdo either. I look forward to hearing some advice. Thanks!
