Comments (3)"Laminated Plywood" and "Plywood with mica" is one and the same thing. There is no difference between the two. You may need to check your question again. Comments (1)Rajkumar, There are a lot of materials available but IMHO the BWP ply as the core material is best suited for Kitchen. Laminates, Glass, Acrylic are the top 3 picks for finishes for above parameters. Get trusted hardware Hettich/Hafelle/Blum/Ebco are few of the good ones. Chimney, width and suction power two most important criteria. Added features like oil collection are a good option. It depends upon you cooking style, kitchen dimensions and ventilation. Comments (1)Laminate is incredibly durable. Currently we have a stone-look gloss surface with tiny, occasional pits for texture, no problems with food particles getting stuck. Previously we had a matte finish in color, it lasted 20 years before looking scuffed. I would not use raised texture on a counter bc the peaks would wear more quickly....See More- 7 years ago
