I was told that the "OptiMat Rug Pad" is the best product to use under area rugs on wood floors. The OptiMat will not discolor the floor. I was also told that the pads are made from horse hair and are about a half-inch thick.

I am unable to find this particular description online. If you have used an OptiMat Rug Pad by Jade Industries on a hardwood floor, please leave your comments as to whether or not you would recommend. I've tried to find customer reviews, but have been unsuccessful. Also, if you know of a link to customer reviews, please post.
