laundry room Design Dilemma Bathroom

Just wanted to get some opinions on this layout. I am a novice but trying to figure out what to do in this space that now has a separate tub and shower. I want to add a stackable washer/dryer next to the shower but wondering if the spacing looks good. Any advice is appreciated! (This is a first level bath so we only need a single sink).

I would probably do something like this, get that toilet out of the way and tucked in next to the shower, and put the dbl W/D next to the sink. This way when you walk in using the W/D you will not be walking right into the toilet because it will be protruding into the pathway, you will have a nice shower 48" wide and 36" deep, nice size vanity, etc.

Good point...the toilet would be a little strange all alone there. That's where it is now so was just trying not to move too much. What do you think of this?

I think you are talking about a vanity to put in the bedroom, not the bathroom. Is that correct? If it is correct, then I think your idea of cherry wood for the vanity is a good one. It certainly doesn't have to match exactly. In fact, we mix a lot of wood stains these days. If you're interested in a vanity for the bathroom, that's a totally different thing. I see part of the bathroom in the photos. You could have a faux artist come and paint the existing bath vanity to match your bed if you want to go in that direction. But you state that you want a modern bathroom, so maybe you have something else in mind. I've selected 4 different baths that might appeal to you. Something like this may work. Note the changed door positions so that anyone in the bedrooms can visit the bathroom without disturbing anyone else in the lounge !

These are very tight bathrooms and the layout there is quite efficient. Not much one can do without expanding the size.

This is your picture I would switch the laundry and the shower. so shower is right next to the toilet when you walk out the shower you walk in front of the toilet.
