I agree with eztia - you need to give a raison d'etre to your room and pale gold from the upholstery will tie in with the room and contrast against the candy pink wall. If you could find a discreet candy pink and pale gold curtain you would have hit the jackpot!

I think the yellow and grey might bring out the gold-ish-ness of the couch.. I'd try to go with more blue colors.. Maybe some navy pillows and a rug with the blue in it as well. The curtains, that ying-yang rug, and the lilac rug just gotta go.. They're dwarfing all the sophistication this room will be able to have with that tile floor and those big beautiful windows. I love the dining room chairs!

The architects have spoken. I have worked on a couple of building in India somewhat similar and know that this is well liked and fairly common. It does need to simplify but you can do this with color so that the parts introduce themselves not all at once, but with a sense importance relative to the massing. With deft coloring you can give balance and you can make the parts feel like they belong to a whole. There is no need to be simple in the Meisian sense. Lots going on can be quite nice. But with a detailed building as with a person, when you meet them you don't need to know everything about them, see the baby pictures, see the scars from their latest operations. No, you just want the person or building to make a good first impression. Then later as you get to spend some time with them and get to know them you can discover all their intricacies.

Hi Anu, You did a nice job with designing balcony. If you like plants, then you can grow herbs, flowers, vegetables, it will give your balcony a cozy look and cool feel in this hot summer. You can have bookshelf if you are a reader. From the images it can be seen that balcony length is more, so you can develop a corner for your hobbies or whatever that is you like to do in free time.
