Your door and tile colors are both warm, so let's use that as the common thread. Use warm cream/beige/brown on the walls and then any color you want in your upholstery (things need to coordinate, not match). Throw in some black pieces--like a console in the foyer or behind the sofa and/or a coffee table OR end table to pull things together.

Well for windows and doors you'd use gloss or satin finish paint in white and it shouldn't really be different to your white wall paint in colour , if you used the same shade of white from the same company.

Are they real wood doors? Can't you take them down, sand them, and restain them? Or pay someone else to do it if you can't?
