hi, I am placing a wall mounted TV in my guest room where I want to utilise the TV wall and make some storage like chest of drawers. Hello there, since you have got a blank canvas, I would suggest hiring a designer first for a coherent design and decor. As for the living room TV unit, you could do with floating shelves and a wallpapered backdrop for TV with wall mount.
