Hi you have a beautiful living room with lot of space but not utilised properly. My suggestions would be 1. Change the curtains to a lighter color fabric - cream/ beige / sandal (something with light shades that will allow the sunlight to pass through ) 2. When you enter the room you see the TV wall space. That TV setup needs totally new artistic frames to decorate. Get some colorful decor photo frames or quotes that will relate to your personality or your family. 3. There is a small cupboard attached to the TV set. Cover the top with a fabric that will match your window curtain. You can have any indoor plant on it which will add life to the room. 4. You need a round centre table 5. Get new cushion covers that will match with the window curtains. Hope you like my suggestions :)

And as far as Utility area is concerned, we believe that you want to use that area for washing machine and we don't recommend to have that in kitchen because its an open type kitchen you have. So we recommend you to have it in common bath as you got a good length of 8'-4". If you need any help regarding interiors part we would be happy to help you out with it.

You should better go for a natural garden instead of an artificial one!! You really have a very good space to work on ! U can have a mdf wall panel (jaali work) like around 4'x8' installed on the main wall, lit artificially from the rear side. Then a row of planters sown at a ht of 2'.. then a l-shaped seater across it! Yeah @Isuru. @Rajesh, For the open kitchen you need to consider few points 1) Your cooking pattern--- The kitchen cooking aroma will spread in the whole house . Understand the intensity and think twice. 2) The place should or must always be clean as its open . 3) There is no service area or wash area provided in the kitchen. 4) Access from porch is as good as one of the main entrance passage for outsider, if the guest is entering from there, you will have to consider to keep it presentable all the time. There are so many points to consider while making or designing as open kitchen and your kitchen is nearby the main entrance. So please think considering all the points and decide.
