space of drama and contrast, this mock-up apartment intentionally pairs quirky elements with classical ones to create an eclectic, in-vogue and super stylish space. Bold colours against dramatic patterns; antique textures with glossy compliments; and theatrical shapes against stern lines are visible in the whole space.

Brief: This mock up apartment targets the global traveller who is either from India or a person from another country who has settled in India. The brief required that the interiors of the space have a quirky look yet a global appeal; an Indian touch but an international feel; a lavish style but within a budget.

Challenges: Our biggest challenge was to use the common builder given marble instead of other floors we would choose and create an eclectic, in-vogue and super stylish space.

This apartment is an unusual and trendy canvas – a rendezvous of the shabby chic sensibility with the best of modern-goth.
