Olav, the owner wanted a space that could work well for his annual winter visits to Goa as well as double up as a BNB space for the rest of the year. He was clear about equipping the kitchen well, and about having ample storage space that he could lock up when away.

The project was partially undertaken by the builder, but we felt strongly about changing certain finishes like the toilet and kitchen tiles and fittings. What we also did with the space, was to create extra sleeping space for 2-5 to crash comfortably. The powder room was rather dull and we brought in extra light by knocking down a part of the wall that sits between the master toilet and powder room. Fittings and fixtures also needed to be changed to use the space more efficiently.
