Munir and Shivani's house in Carona is more than just a house to its occupants. And they have been more than clients to us as well. The clients are both visual artists and have been collaborators on the project, which we all agree will be work-in-progress until all the tiniest details have been addressed to the satisfaction of the various artists and designers involved.

The house clearly has an old section and a new annexure. There has been little effort made to cheat the inherent characters. A major part of our responsibility as the designers on the project included space layouts; the design of doors and windows; selection of the hard finishes like floors, tiles, fixtures and fittings; design and execution of furniture pieces seen here; and design of fixed features like cabinets, wardrobes, kitchen.
