Lardy Abraham, the owner had owned this house for 8 years which is located inside an existing resort building that was rented out on his behalf by the resort. He now wanted to reclaim it and remodel it to his requirements. The brief was short and clear. He wanted a fresh look, more comfortable with a full-fledged kitchen.

We achieved this by moving a few walls and managed to give him a family room next to a very functional kitchen along with a powder room which the house lacked. We made the balconies more functional with small additions. The color palette has been kept small and yet vibrant. Some of the walls were textured to steer away from being clinical.

Customized pieces for the project included: Living room console that houses a shoe rack, space for an inverter and a folding desk. Screens were customized to screen off family room which has a sofa-cum-bed to create extra sleeping space. The kitchen island is folding to accommodate extra people when needed, and a mobile bar unit was also tucked away under a luggage counter in the corridor.

The lighting, rugs, art ledges are few more features that also contributes to a cozier space which now feels more welcoming now.
