Sunlit Coastal Ranch

A balance of symmetry, sunlight and coastal vibes round out this home. Inspired by the feel of a California home, it feels beachy, with clean lines and lots of glass so you can see from the front entry, through the house to the water. The back patio is also thoughtfully designed with grass coming right up to the patio and not a lot of concrete.

We used smoked glass on the sides of the fireplace to reflect the flames and make it feel wider, spanning nearly the entire length. Even at an angle, you can start to see more of the flames as you’re walking around the great room.
