As the site was small, vertical circulation (Staircase) incorporated winders to enable a small footprint.

The roof of the staircase has a combination of circular skylights and embedded terracotta clay discs, which continue on the staircase wall adding some material character to it.

Landings at the staircase incorporate a Built in Seating. Pause points where one can rest and catch a breadth before coming into the apartment.
