Vaikunth Villa

The villa is located in a posh residential area of the Ahmedabad city. The site is shared by another adjoining villa. Both villas are connected through a grand veranda, delivered to by a common pedestrian approach adorned with exotic landscape elements, calming water body and gardens on either side.
The Client gave the simple and functional brief. We designed it so that the built mass is spread in such a way that every indoor space is well connected with outdoor space and landscape. The C shape form envelops the house on south side so the garden court remains shaded in evening and morning time. Deep garden veranda on both the floor protects cozy indoor spaces from harsh south light and glare.
The double height formal living room is designed with some exotic wooden up lit ceiling and decor with earthy stucco finished wall. The central hall holds the private spaces of the house - family living, dining, pooja and veranda on north and south side that can be used at different time of days by family members. There has been an attempt to keep as many spaces connected to the nature as possible.
The villa houses a custom made modular kitchen with all the state of art amenities. The material and color palettes used give a rich and classic feel to the interiors.

The Master bedroom on the ground floor is for aged parents, and is designed in a rich red and white theme.
