Mr. Santhosh's 50x60 Traditional & Contemporary Residence
This thoughtfully designed G+1 exposed brick house on a 50x60 east-facing plot in Sagara, Shivamogga, is a celebration of minimalism, material honesty, and contextual planning. Nestled in a serene, green environment, this corner plot house design addresses the site's irregularity with an efficient layout centered around a courtyard near the staircase—a spatial anchor that brings light, ventilation, and family interaction to the core of the home.
The home elevation design is a striking blend of exposed brick, concrete textures, and custom jaali brickwork, offering visual richness and passive climate control. Recessed balconies, privacy screens, and bold geometries bring depth and a dynamic architectural rhythm to the façade, making it a standout brick and concrete house design.
The spatial planning follows Vastu principles, placing the kitchen in the southeast, Puja room in the northeast, and bedrooms in the southwest. An open plan layout enhances connectivity across the living, dining, and kitchen areas while integrating landscaping and natural materials.
This project exemplifies our approach to vernacular yet modern home design—a balance of traditional values and contemporary aesthetics. With sustainability, climate sensitivity, and visual appeal at its heart, this 50x60 house design reflects our commitment to creating meaningful spaces for modern Indian families.
