This country farmhouse style kitchen needed an update. The units were old orange pine, the ceiling was battered woodchip, and the worktops were thick with years of oil and the floor was battered, orange and flaking.

The homeowners wanted to keep the wall tiles and units, so a refresh was needed. What did I do?
Designed a scheme that could transform the space yet retain it's colourful country charm and work with the existing tiling, which included the addition of pendant lighting over the table. Hand-painted the units and added beautiful new brass hardware, sanded back the floor and finished with a natural look, scraped back the worktops, sanded and finished, again with a natural look, painted walls and newly plastered ceiling.
